The elite, young, amateur golfer Valentina Albertazzi, who is proudly sponsored by Atalaya Golf & Country Club, kicked off her 2019 tournament season with a tie for Second at the Junior Honda Classic. The tournament was played on the Jack Nicklaus redesigned Championship Course, at the PGA National Resort & Spa, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, USA, on the 5th and 6th of January.
The Junior Honda Classic provides a competitive golf experience of the highest nature to aspiring young golfers. It also greatly assists these golfers in fine-tuning their developmental skills.
The goals of the tournament are to celebrate junior golf and perpetuate the “growth of the game initiatives”. According to the Honda Classic website, the tournament welcomes “… young people of all ages and skill levels to play and have fun.”
Golfers from more than 16 nations and 20 American states participated in this year’s competition.
