With this in mind and with Atalaya Golfs constant commitment with the environment, works have been undertaken in order to limit the proliferation of these fires. Scrub land has been cleaned close to the New Course, maintaining trees and native plants which will both benefit from this.
All the brushwood has been collected and recycled. These works apart from impeding the proliferation of fires will make it an easier job for those players who loose there balls in these areas, this will reduce search time and speed up play.
In these images you can appreciate the work undertaken, a lake has been cleaned and will be enlarged in order to increase the volume which can be stored. This holding lake is connected to the lake on the 13th hole of the Old Course.
