The sun shone and a full house of nearly 120 players attended this year’s event, with outgoing President Richard Phillimore welcoming the golfers for one of the most prestigious competitions on the social calendar at Atalaya Golf.
Players enjoyed a “Beat the Pro” challenge on the 7th hole with Robin Stadheim from the PG Academy and a barbeque on the 9th hole made sure that they didn’t go hungry.
The golf was followed by an evening dinner dance attended by 124 members and guests, with live entertainment and a table magician accompanying a fabulous three course meal.Many thanks to the main sponsors on the day, namely La Sala Banus, Golfriend’s and PG Golf Academy for their generosity with some fantastic prizes, and congratulations to Doris Muller who took home the trophy with a fine score of 39 stableford points.
