Due to recent legislative changes decided by the local Town Hall Authorities, we are temporarily changing Hole 1 into a Par 3. For this reason, we are also building a brand-new green for Hole 1.
Construction work started on Nov 9, 2015 and has been cordoned off, so as to not cause any inconvenience or disturbance to our golfers.
During this time of construction, the green that will be used for play in the interim is a green, which was built already 5 years ago. It is a beautiful, mature green in perfect condition, and players have been telling us that they are delighted with this temporary solution.
This is the beginning of an Atalaya Golf Master Plan which will include a totally new hole 1 Old Course, new tees, Kiosk, putting green, purchase of 3.500 m2 of the neighbourhood land and the construction of an underground parking for 140 cars next to our Club House.

Our green expert Juan Perez is placing the first pin position on the new interim green. This hole will be temporarily a par 3 and played as hole 10.
