In preparation for hosting the Gecko Pro Tour for a two-day tournament on the New Course on December 13th and 14th, Atalaya’s greenkeepers carried out numerous maintenance tasks to assure that the course would offer the tournament’s professional players the finest of playing conditions.
Included in the work that was done was verticutting, where the greens are moved vertically to assure a faster playing surface, mowing, and “Green Sweep” topdressing.
