The KLM Open was held at the Amsterdam International Golf Club in the Netherlands, where Atalaya Golf Director Andres Sanchez and Francisco Rojas from Bellavista Golf in Huelva represented the 105 courses of the Golf Federation of Andalucia.

Among the visitors to the stand were golf course designer and architect Bruno Steensels, and golf professional Miles Tunnicliff, a good friend of Atalaya. Football legend Marco Van Basten was also present and hit the ceremonial opening tee shot.

On the last day, play was delayed for two hours due to activists blocking the main entrance to the course and event. Despite this, it remained a very enjoyable and exciting tournament as Guido Migliozzi from Italy claimed a dramatic victory in a play-off against Marcus Kinhult and Joe Dean.

Andres was delighted with the interest shown by the large crowds visiting the Andalucian tent. We look forward to welcoming many of them to the club soon.In fact, we have already received a request from one of our visitors to play this summer, making the event a great success.
