A lively group of 24 Atalaya Golf and country members set off for an unforgettable away trip to the stunning Doña Julia Golf Club. The weather couldn’t have been better—clear skies and a gentle breeze set the stage for a perfect round of golf. Our group, brimming with enthusiasm, played the Shambles format, adding an extra layer of strategy and fun to the game.
As the day progressed, the friendly competition heated up. After an exhilarating round, the team of Diane & Keith Brown, Peter Oliver, and Gerry License emerged victorious with an impressive 98 points. Their teamwork and skill were truly a sight to behold.
Close on their heels, the team of Paul Wiget, Bumi Mueller, Franz Arnold, and Louise Spruce secured second place with a commendable 93 points. Their effort and determination highlighted the spirited nature of the competition. Nina Phillimore and Derek Woodley clinched the Nearest to the Pin in their respective categories.
