Atalaya Golf & Country Club has once again been awarded UniEléctrica Energy’s Green Energy Certificate.
This certificate recognises Atalaya as a socially responsible company for its ongoing contribution to the sustainable development and maintenance of the environment.
One hundred percent of the energy that UniEléctrica supplies is of renewable origin. The company is approved by the Spanish Ministry of Industry and is recognized by the National Energy Commission.
Renewable energies are the cleanest form of energy for the environment. They have little or no negative impact and any impact they might have is always reversible. Renewable energies have many advantages, including the preservation of the environment, the contribution to the “corporate social responsibility” of a company, and the reduction of costs.
Atalaya contributes to reducing the environmental impact that the golf industry generates in Costa del Sol’s environment through the many socially responsible measures it takes on a daily basis.
