Atalaya Golf & Country Club offers its members much more than 36 holes of the best golfing experience on the Costa del Sol 365 days a year.
Atalaya’s social life is vibrant and engaging. Individual and team 18-hole competitions are organised at least twice a week, and various club tournaments are held throughout the year. Special events are regularly planned and bring the club’s 36-nationality membership together for good fun, many laughs, and much camaraderie.
Most recently on June 22, Captains Richard Phillimore and Lynne Hood organised for the first time ever a knock-out Pétanque tournament, with non-stop wine and cheese. The event was held at Atalaya’s Enjoy Golf Academy, and although the majority of Atalaya’s members know little about Pétanque, the evening was very well attended and enjoyed by all.
