Every Wednesday during winter, spring, and fall, Atalaya ladies and their guests come together for a weekly competition.
Each week the golfing format varies from Individual Stableford to a Blue and Red Tee Challenge to several games, including Greensomes, Scrambles, AMAMs, and the like.
Normally, awards are presented directly after play on the clubhouse terrace when it is sunny and warm and indoors with a cracking fire popping when it is cold.
From time to time as a special treat, a luncheon is organised for all to enjoy after play, and the most recent of these lunch events took place on March 1st. Everyone travelled to the beautiful village of Benahavis for a five-course tasting luncheon prepared, presented, and severed by the students who attend the Escuela Hostelería there.
All enjoyed a full day that included challenging golf and a most delicious and relaxing luncheon.
