Juan Antonio Alvarez Lopez and Pam Butler are Atalaya Golf & Country Club’s 2017 Hargrave Trophy winners.
The 18-hole tournament is played on the Old Course each January and honours the memory of former Atalaya Captain and President, Mr Derek Hargrave.
When the event was instituted in 2010, three trophies were awarded, one to the golfer with the Best Gross Score of the day and the other two to the lady and gentleman with the day’s highest Stableford scores. This year only the two trophies for the highest Stableford scores were awarded.
The Best Gross Score trophy has been re-purposed and now serves as Atalaya’s Ryder Cup trophy.
