The Old course at Atalaya golf club was the venue for the latest tournament in this prestigious invitation-only circuit. Over 100 players took part in the individual stableford competition which began with the participants receiving their welcome pack before the shotgun start at 9.00 am.
A halfway house was positioned alongside the 10th tee offering a selection of fruit, snacks and refreshments to help combat the heat and after the competition the prize-giving was held in conjunction with a fabulous array of tapas for the guests.
The presentation was attended by Turkish Airlines Marketing Manager Luis Sánchez, General Manager Muzaffer Rifaioglu, and Sales Vice-President of Southern Europe Omer Faruk Sonmez who thanked the players and the club for a great day of golf. The winner with a fantastic score of 45 points was Antonio Fernández Martín who qualified for the grand final to be held at the Gloria Golf Resort in Belek,Turkey later on in the year.
